BCR & Bid Committee Timeline

July 29th        (30 Days prior to Bid Session) Bid Committee's declaration of intent to bid and submission of BCR's 
                      contact information.

August 14      BCR Orientation Conference Call with Advisory Council Co-Chair
3:00 PM

August 18th  Bid delivered via PDF 10 days / 240 hours prior to the scheduled start of the bid session.
7:00 AM        Need help creating a PDF of your Bid? Information on how to create a PDF as well as free PDF software
                      is available online.

August 21st    (7 Days prior to Bid Session) The Operating Committee notifies all Bid Committees as to the status of 
                       their Bid, i.e. accepted or rejected. The Operating Committee makes Bid Package PDFs available to BCRs.


Between 7 days prior and Thursday, the start of the Conference, Council and BCRs are encouraged to continue reviewing the Bid Packages.


Thursday, August 26th 2010

By 2:00 PM    Deliver physical Bid Packages to the Advisory Council (Wilder Room 4th Floor)

6:00 AM         Committees set up Bid Tables in Manhattan Ballroom 

5:00 PM - ?    Committees are encouraged to be present at the Bid Tables, to meet informally with the Advisory
                      Council, BCRs and other Bidders. 


Friday, August 27th 2010

8-8:30 AM      BCR & Council Meet & Greet

8:30-12 PM    Bid Tables: First Session

1:30-3 PM      How To Bid / Advisory Council Q&A Session

3-4:30 PM      Bid Tables: Second Session


Saturday, August 28th 2010

7:00 AM         Bid Session, followed by the Site Selection

TBD                After the conclusion of the main meeting, AC meets in the Bid Tables Room to meet with non-awarded 
                      Bid Committees.

TBD                After the conclusion of the main meeting the Advisory Council Co-Chair has a closed BCR debriefing 
                      session in Council's Room
